Hazy light effects make me feel high and stained, soft pieces of paper make me feel effortlessly beautiful. I’ve never settled on a single medium, because how could I deny myself the emotion and experience of any other? I don’t show up at my studio to think, I go there to feel. And if I’ve done a good job, then the others that stand in front of, or around, or in my work feel something too.
